My name is Kendra :) I live in Maine and have gone to church for most of my life. I am involved in youth group, and many church events. I am also an Awana leader and a Vacation Bible School leader. My passion in life is living for God, and spreading His word. Believing in God is a very important part of my life, and I try to be the best example of a Christian that I can be.

I love music, I don't think I could live without it! Music is what keeps me going and is always bring me back to God.I dont think I have a favorite.... I like Sanctus Real, Third Day, Mercy Me, Steven Curtis Chapman, Chris Tomlin, John Waller, Rush of Fools, Brandon Heath, MIchael W. Smith, Jeremy Camp, Lincoln Brewster, Jars of Clay, 33Miles, Big Daddy Weave, Meredith Andrews, Casting Crowns, Kutless, Skillet, Seventh Day Slumber and many others!

I like most movies.....
Book Interest:
I don't like reading alot, but I enjoy reading devotions, Max Lucado books, and of course the BIBLE :)
I don't think I have one favorite verse, but a few verses that I definately are:

Your Experience with Jesus Christ::
I guess through everything that has happened, and things that are happening to me right now I have learned that when you are going through the hardest times in your life it may feel like God is the furthest away and it may not feel like he is right by your side, but really during the hardest of times is when God is the closest and when he is carrying you the whole way. I love the analogy of the man walking along the beach, talking to God. It relates to my life and my relationship with God and so many ways. God has shown me alot, and He has used me in amazing ways that I never imagined He would. Everytime I am in need I cry out to Jesus and He is always there to protect me, love me, and care for me. I am so glad that I have found God, because I dont want to know where I would be today if I didn't have God to carry me.
How did you become a Christian:
I started going to church for the first time around 3 years old with my grandparents, and this is how I became a christian and got to know Jesus Christ as my personal savior. I was quite young, so I didn't understand much. I went for years, and then I stopped going for the longest time. I became side tracked, and was putting other things before God. I started doing some things that weren't good, and I was influenced by peer pressure and trying to "be like everyone else" kinda thing. During this time I felt like I had to do everything on my own. I felt like I was to far to turn around, like I had messed up my life to much. I thought for this period of time that I didn't need anything... that all I needed was myself. I didn't think I needed God's help, because I thought that I could do everything on my own. During this time my grandfather that really gave me the opportunity to find God, past away and this was a very difficult time for me. At first I was pushing everyone away. I was angry, and mad that God would take my Grandfather who I was so close with away from me so quick.Then overtime was when I realized that I had NO reason to be mad at God but that I actually needed Him. I needed His guidance, His strength, His hope, and most definately His unconditional love. And as I let my anger out and opened up my heart and let God work through me His love really began to comfort me through that hard time. About two years ago, I decided that I needed to make some changes. I stopped doing the things that weren't pleasing God, and I turned around. I made changes in my life and started making God my first priority and living my life to glorify Him and no one else. Then about a year ago I began to attend the same church that I attended with my grandparents. It was hard to go back there, cause I had so many memories there. But I eventually got past that, and that is when the healing process really began for me and ever since I have been very involved in this church, and my relationship with God has gone deeper then I ever imagined it could.

Have you lead someone difficult to Jesus and how?:
Not that I know of, but I definately live a Christian life, and have shared my Christian faith with others before. I think of it this way......you never know what you may say that will stick with someone forever. Even just telling someone, "God Loves You" could make all the difference!
Where would you like to live ?:
I would like to live in many different places.... I wouldn't mind staying in Maine, or living in New Hampshire, Virginia, or Australia :)
Which person would you most like to meet?:
I want to meet my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, I want to meet Him in person, I want to see Him with my own eyes, this is my desire!!!!!!!!!!
