I have been performing since age 10 both in the states and abroad. I often perform in both English and Italian. Stevie Wonder, Tina Turner, Marvin Gaye, and Jackie Wilson are among some of my influences. When I'm nott performing or recording his music, I like to indulge in my favorite hobby, which is creating beats and listening to music from the 50's and 60's.
My music comes deep from the heart, and my songs are all about emotions, whether they involve love, betrayal, or just being happy and having a good time.
I have received a great deal of prestige and recognition for my music.
In 2005, I was the winner of the R&B Division at Nashville Star Search. In 2008,I performed at Governor Bobby Jindal's inaugural festivities. In 2008, I was nominated for National R&B/Soul Artist of the Year at the Los Angeles Music Awards. I was placed on the ballot for the 2009 Grammy Awards in a number of categories, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist. Most recently, I was placed on the ballot for the 2010 Grammy Awards for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, and Best Pop Vocal Album.
